Layover & Connection Tips

  • Domestic and International terminals are not connected - take the Airtrain or transfer bus (10–15 minutes).
  • Allow extra time when transferring between terminals especially during the peak hours of the morning and evening.
  • There is often higher traffic on the late afternoon of international departures.
  • Lounge access is most potent in the International Terminal.
  • All international arrivals have to pass through Australian border control and biosecurity screening.
